For those of you who do not know, the rare 'Hubbell' shark tooth is a term named after legendary shark tooth hunter, Gordon Hubbell, who discovered these unusually shaped Megalodon Shark Teeth. Their unique features include a deeper root in the middle, a more curved bourlette and a wider root that create a heart shape. Scientists believe Hubbell Megalodon Shark Teeth to be either from a genetic mutation in Megalodons similar to dwarfism in humans or just malnourished sharks because no large Hubbells have ever been found. We are very lucky to have this beautiful tooth featured on our site! Found in Venice, Florida.
