For those who don't know: A Hubbell megalodon shark tooth refers to a slightly deformed tooth that appears in more of a heart shape compared to the typical juvenile meg of this size. They are considered more rare and desired because they are far less common with the understanding that the changed shape is a result of a deformity or malnourisment. Hubbells never seem to get much larger than this. Found on land in Venice, Florida by Captain Michael Nastasio of Black Gold Fossil Charters. Shark teeth found on land like this are some of the most sought after in the world because of the colors and quality. This dark green, black and grey tooth has great preservation all around with an awesome bourlette in the middle, perfect root, and great serrations.
