This is a very rare and desirable color Meg found in the world famous Bone Valley Fossil Formation in Central Florida. Teeth like this are very hard to come by but are very coveted by collectors because of the white roots and unbelievable colors that can be produced only in this region. Shark teeth absorb the minerals around them as they fossilize over 2-23 million years and this area has such a wide variety of minerals that produce some amazing colors. No alterations of any kind were done to this tooth besides washing it off with water! This is an incredible specimen.
