4.75 inch long by 3.75 wide, this tooth was from the upper jaw of the shark. Can you believe the beautiful colors and shine to this beautiful Megalodon?! This is a very rare coloration to find offshore scuba diving and an extremely high end Megalodon shark tooth for the serious collector.
Found scuba diving in Venice, Florida by Captain Michael Nastasio of Black Gold Fossil Charters. Venice is actually the shark tooth capital of the world! GOLDEN BEACH: The colors on this tooth are called "Golden Beach" which is an area of Venice that can produce colorations different from the more common black. Shark teeth turn black and fade the enamel shine after soaking in saltwater so this tooth happened to be found before the saltwater could change the color. This shark would have been 47+ feet long because 1 inch of shark tooth is generally equal to 10 feet of shark.
